Preparing for our filming

The motif in our music video is a person with a paper bag on their head that would appear in certain scenes of the music video that way allowing the audience to look out for it, which will hopefully grab their attention. In preparing all this we found it quite difficult to find an actual paper bag we can use seeing as all paper bags sold in markets and shops were too small. In which case we had to find the right size paper bag from anywhere which ended up being KFC, and stick another paper bag (a smaller one) on the outside to cover the logo, because it could be seen as a form of promotion other wise.

We chose to have me as the paper bag motif to portray Laura Mulvey's theory of female representation in music videos, which is them being objectified. By having my head covered by a bag and only revealing my body highlights how women are shown in music videos especially with genres such as rap and hip hop, and because our artist falls under hip hop we too thought using the motif to portray this theory was a good idea.

(Sorry it's side ways.)
