Digipak from summer lesson

Strengths

- There is a colour scheme which is constant throughout and it has connotations of happiness and a general light mood to it, which reflect not only the songs inside the CD, but also the artists and their image.

- There is a clear picture of all three artists so the audience can easily identify them

- The name of the artist is easy to recognise and spot.

- It targets mainly women however it can get the male attention to through the mise on scene in particular the artists clothing which includes a dress, and two cropped tops suggesting that male audience is also targeted, therefore both audiences are reached our on the digipak.

- The record company and extra detail is all included at the back.

Weaknesses

- The back is very simplistic, I could have used another image to put there that reflects the genre and artists better.

- The digipak doesn’t blend into one, but rather its two separate sections, which is done in some cases, however I think if it was one long images or setting linking the back and from it would have been better in the sense that it would attract more attention to it if you saw it in the CD shop.

- The colour of the name of the artist blends in too much with the background, which means the audience may find it difficult to read and the name of the group is the most important thing as it identifies them.

- The image could have perhaps been one where the group is closer together to connote a bond or closeness between the girls, which is what you would expect form an all girls band.

- I have manipulated the image sizes which is a big no no!
