This is the music video that I can say had the most profound influence on our planning of our own music video. Firstly it is the same artist as our final choice and secondly we picked up the most ideas from here. The editing is something we were really eager to replicate in our music video because it fits the conventions of a typical pop video, specifically we loved the slow motion jump in the air as well as the angles when their all in the city dancing and how it was filmed in general. We also liked the park scene because it used good editing skills and the beat matched the editing, overall we got most of our ideas from this music video.
This is another video that had some influence on our work especially the scene we loved most was where he is in the center of the scene and it slows down while everyone else around him rounds around and that's an idea we are really anxious to use because it fits in with the chorus in our song and it will look great if it works.
This is the last video that had major influence on our final planning only because we really liked the idea of the camera concentrating on one thing and the editing is really slick, we are planning to incorporate this into our work sometime just to have points of focus for the audience while promoting the artist too.
